Global Education for Russians - Program Launching Ceremony

Please join brainstorm session and jazz networking cocktail reception!

In 2011, the Harvard Club of Russia organized a remarkable meeting with Andrey Fursenko, at that time the Minister of Education and Science and convinced him to support our initiative for establishing the first state-sponsored scholarship to educate Russian citizens at the leading world universities, including, of course, at our Alma Mater.

Together with the Russian Agency for Strategic Initiatives we went a long way of bureaucratic hustle and bustle before the Prime Minister Medvedev signed on June 20 a decree to launch the Global Education for Russians Program: http://government.ru/media/files/41d4ea19c585b41cf68d.pdf

Please join us this Tuesday, July 8, from 6 to 9 pm to celebrate our joint achievement, which will help more Russians to get education at Harvard, and to brainstorm together how to make the Program’s execution most efficient.

This brainstorm session is jointly organized by the Harvard Club of Russia, the Agency for Strategic Initiative and features as keynote speakers, among others, Dmitry Livanov, the Minister of Education and Science, Andrey Belousov, the Aide to the President, Yury Trutnev, the Deputy Prime Minister and Andrey Nikitin, the General Director of ASI.

The session is followed by a live jazz networking cocktail reception.

Please join us from 6 to 9 PM at the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (2nd Tverskaya-Yamskaya, 14/15)!
